Even after people have discovered the way forward every time they are sick, it is sad to know that many decide to live on their own. There is a lady I talked to two weeks ago regarding dhss sickness benefit and the news I got were quite shocking. A sick mother of two lives in a secluded place because she is poor reason being she feels that everyone hates her. Even after she was told about sickness benefits, she says she cannot count on any one for help because she believes she is becoming a bother. This is something that made me wonder what the problem really was and it went on for quite a long time as the woman remained stubborn. But the best part is that this lady eventually accepted to work with the benefits and later went to the hospital where she received treatment. It was such a great effort that my friend and I had to make. It turned out successful and the lady today is able to appreciate herself and she is bringing up her kids well like a good mother should.

Looking at Nursing Homes
My dad is getting pretty old and I think he might be getting senile as well, it is really depressing and I wish he could live on his own still. But it simply doesn’t seem responsible to allow him to live by himself, I would buy him a nurse to live with him if I could afford it, but that is way too expensive. I think the only option is look into some nursing homes. He suffered a fall two weeks ago and broke his wrist and has some pretty bad bruises as well. He suffered a concussion during the fall, I guess it was pretty severe, he has not seemed quite normal since. It breaks my heart to have to put him in a home, but I don’t know what else to do. Hopefully there are some out there that are pretty good, and actually pay good care and attention to their residents.

Running out of Gifts for Grandparents; Go on Line
Do you run out of ideas for gifts for grandparents to give your kids? We always do! Our kids’ birthdays are so very close to the Christmas season that they do not need or want much by Christmas.
I always try to tell our parents to purchase something consumable for our kids. No, it does not have to actually be edible, but something that gets used, not another toy to fill the house.
We suggest things like a gift certificate to the local community education department, so they can do community sports. Tickets to a children’s play are always fun. Craft items are great. I know they make a mess, but they are consumable. We also like educational items like electronic learning toys or computer games.
Do you hate the idea of having one more toy in your house? Get creative. Your kids will have just as much fun without brining in more clutter.

Now I Wear Low Power Reading Glasses to Work
I began working in a DBA position at only 30 years old with 20/20 eyesight and now 4 years later looking at the same computer screen I find myself using glasses! I never expected my vision would deteriorate due to being on the computer so much. It started as maybe an hour a day to now I am absorbing UV rays at least 8 hours a day from the screen. I did find out from a colleague of mine it is easier if I wear some kind of low power reading glasses. So that is exactly what I searched for, a pair that did not look awful and that would help me out in the long run. I found out quickly, I did not need a prescription and that there are some really cute pairs available on line if you look for them. I found 2 very nice ones and thankfully my eyes feel much better from using them.
