When buildings are built: whether a house, castle, office, Used Conservatory, hospital, and theatre, materials that are used must be taken into considerations. Primary materials for building construction are cement, concrete, glass, stucco and wood.
Cement usually refers to a finely powdered, manufactured substance consisting of gypsum plaster or Portland cement that hardens and adheres after being mixed with water. Concrete is a material made from a mixture of Portland cement, water, fine and coarse aggregates, and a small amount of air. It is the most widely used construction material in the world. Glass is an amorphous substance made primarily of silica fused at high temperatures with borates or phosphates and can be found in nature – as the volcanic material obsidian and tektites. Stucco is used as a rough wall coating, usually for exterior walls which include sand, lime, and gypsum. Stucco can be painted when dry or mixed with pigment when wet. Wood is a hard, tough substance that forms the trunks of trees, and that has been used for thousands of years as a fuel and as a material of construction.
